It’s kind of funny – while so many DJs are quick to tell you how many songs are in their ‘library’, I have to say – I don’t even know how many songs we have. It was another story a few years ago, when we had to make sure we didn’t leave any of our CD binders behind – then we’d be short a couple hundred songs that we had no other way of accessing! With the use of mp3s, and storing music on hard drives, it’s a bit different – not only have we lost track of how many songs we have on hard drives, we truly have the entire music industry at our fingertips with the ability to purchase and download music from many different places online. But there’s a reason we aren’t quick to boast about the size of our music library – it doesn’t really matter.
